Allan Abalo

Allan Abalo is the Senior Legal Officer at Hoima Centre, carrying the centre’s more complex litigation and supervising junior officers. He represents indigent clients in the courts serving Buliisa, Hoima and Kiryandongo and leads on strategic cases with wider community impact.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre. He previously served with a human rights organisation in the region, supporting survivors of gender-based violence through the justice system.

He is passionate about making the law understandable — his community sessions are known for turning complex procedure into plain language.
