Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

Mediation is one of the ways through which issues brought to JCU are handled and/ or solved. It is a very time and cost-effective way to resolve disputes between two parties. It is put into action before resort can be made to court.

memorandum of understanding is a document that describes the broad outlines of an agreement that two or more parties have reached after a mediation.

MOUs communicate the mutually accepted expectations of all of the parties involved in a mediation. The MOU defines the terms and conditions and responsibilities of the parties involved.
