Hazardous Work

Hazardous work is work which by its nature or the circumstances under which it is performed, jeopardizes the health, safety and morals of a child. This includes: any work/ activity that may be injurious, harmful or hazardous to his or her health, or his or her physical, mental, spiritual, moral, or social development or in the worst forms of child labour.

Where to report instances of child labour:

• The Police (Child and Family Protection Unit)
• The Local Council
• The District Labour Officer
• Courts of law including Industrial Court
• Justice Centres Uganda
• SAUTI 116 (Child Helpline)
