Civil society organisations, when properly organised, have the power to advocate for and influence the actions of law and policy-makers.
JCU closely works with various CSOs to provide legal aid and to undertake joint advocacy to ensure change of laws, policies and practices that aid the indigent and vulnerable to access justice.
