A Community Baraza is a gathering that provides an open platform for persons to hold their duty bearers accountable in a bid to enhance access to justice for every Ugandan regardless of economic, social and cultural background.
These barazas are very key because they give an opportunity to community members to closely interact with the stakeholders in administration of justice and create an opportunity for the stakeholders to interact among themselves and to jointly suggest solutions to the communities’ outcry with regards to the barriers they face in accessing justice.
The barazas specifically tackle issues relating to unlocking bottlenecks to access to justice.
