Opio Aciro

Opio Aciro leads the Mukono Centre team, overseeing casework, community outreach and the day-to-day running of the centre serving Buikwe, Kayunga and Mukono. He is responsible for case allocation, quality assurance and the centre’s relationships with courts, police and district authorities.

He trained in law at Uganda Christian University and completed the bar course at the Law Development Centre. Before joining Justice Centres Uganda, He worked with a district legal aid clinic, handling land, family and succession matters for low-income clients.

Outside the office, He leads community radio talk-shows on everyday legal questions and mentors young people considering careers in the justice sector.
