Josephine Wanyama

Josephine Wanyama is the Senior Legal Officer at Masaka Centre, carrying the centre’s more complex litigation and supervising junior officers. She represents indigent clients in the courts serving Masaka and leads on strategic cases with wider community impact.

She trained in law at Uganda Christian University and completed the bar course at the Law Development Centre. Before joining Justice Centres Uganda, She worked with a district legal aid clinic, handling land, family and succession matters for low-income clients.

Outside the office, She leads community radio talk-shows on everyday legal questions and mentors young people considering careers in the justice sector.
