Denis Ssemwanga

Denis Ssemwanga coordinates community outreach for Mmengo Centre, taking legal awareness sessions, mobile clinics and radio programmes to communities across Kampala, Mpigi and Wakiso. He works closely with local council courts, cultural leaders and village paralegals.

He studied Community Psychology at Kyambogo University with further training in trauma-informed counselling. He joined JCU as a volunteer paralegal and rose through the programme on the strength of his casework and community trust.

He represents the centre on the district GBV and child-protection coordination committees.
