Psychosocial Counsellor
Amos Namusoke
Amos Namusoke is the Psychosocial Counsellor at Yumbe Centre, supporting clients through the emotional weight that so often accompanies a legal problem. He offers one-on-one and family counselling and runs the centre’s referral pathways for survivors of violence in Yumbe.
He holds a Bachelor of Development Studies and a certificate in paralegal practice. He previously served with a human rights organisation in the region, supporting survivors of gender-based violence through the justice system.
He is passionate about making the law understandable — his community sessions are known for turning complex procedure into plain language.
