What they do
District local governments deliver frontline public services across the districts where Justice Centres Uganda works. The offices JCU partners with include Chief Administrative Officers, Community Development Officers at district, town-council and sub-county level, probation and social welfare officers, district education, health, labour and gender offices, town clerks and district chairpersons.
Partnership with JCU
These offices refer community members to JCU for legal aid, support case follow-up and social inquiry, and work with JCU on community outreach, child protection and gender-based violence response in their districts.
