Ivan Achieng

Ivan Achieng leads the Masaka Centre team, overseeing casework, community outreach and the day-to-day running of the centre serving Masaka. He is responsible for case allocation, quality assurance and the centre’s relationships with courts, police and district authorities.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre. He joined JCU as a volunteer paralegal and rose through the programme on the strength of his casework and community trust.

He represents the centre on the district GBV and child-protection coordination committees.
