Diana Barungi

Diana Barungi leads the Mubende Centre team, overseeing casework, community outreach and the day-to-day running of the centre serving Kyegegwa, Mubende and Mityana. She is responsible for case allocation, quality assurance and the centre’s relationships with courts, police and district authorities.

She holds a degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University. She joined JCU as a volunteer paralegal and rose through the programme on the strength of her casework and community trust.

She represents the centre on the district GBV and child-protection coordination committees.
