Harriet Odongo

Harriet Odongo is the Psychosocial Counsellor at Bundibugyo Centre, supporting clients through the emotional weight that so often accompanies a legal problem. She offers one-on-one and family counselling and runs the centre’s referral pathways for survivors of violence in Bundibugyo.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre. She came to JCU from community development work, where she coordinated village-level sensitisation on land rights and child protection.

She also supports the centre’s outreach circuits, taking legal aid services to sub-counties far from the district headquarters.
