Flavia Mugisha

Flavia Mugisha is the Senior Legal Officer at Bundibugyo Centre, carrying the centre’s more complex litigation and supervising junior officers. She represents indigent clients in the courts serving Bundibugyo and leads on strategic cases with wider community impact.

She holds a Bachelor of Development Studies and a certificate in paralegal practice. She previously served with a human rights organisation in the region, supporting survivors of gender-based violence through the justice system.

She is passionate about making the law understandable — her community sessions are known for turning complex procedure into plain language.
