Irene Adong

Irene Adong coordinates community outreach for Lira Centre, taking legal awareness sessions, mobile clinics and radio programmes to communities across Apac, Pader and Lira. She works closely with local council courts, cultural leaders and village paralegals.

She holds a degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University. She joined JCU as a volunteer paralegal and rose through the programme on the strength of her casework and community trust.

She represents the centre on the district GBV and child-protection coordination committees.
