The Mmengo Centre with funding from Un Women, Spotlight Initiative and JLOS conducted a six-day training for CBVs (newly recruited and old) which commenced on 30th August at G-One Hotel in Kampala. The training consisted of participants from Makindye, Kawempe, Nakawa, Rubaga and Central Divisions and; they received a training in the most prevalent legal issues faced by communities and in basic counselling in order to help them efficiently extend JCU services to the community.
