Doreen Opoka

Doreen Opoka coordinates community outreach for Hoima Centre, taking legal awareness sessions, mobile clinics and radio programmes to communities across Buliisa, Hoima and Kiryandongo. She works closely with local council courts, cultural leaders and village paralegals.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Islamic University in Uganda and is an enrolled advocate of the High Court. She joined JCU as a volunteer paralegal and rose through the programme on the strength of her casework and community trust.

She represents the centre on the district GBV and child-protection coordination committees.
