Patricia Onen

Patricia Onen is the Senior Legal Officer at Mukono Centre, carrying the centre’s more complex litigation and supervising junior officers. She represents indigent clients in the courts serving Buikwe, Kayunga and Mukono and leads on strategic cases with wider community impact.

She holds a degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University. She previously served with a human rights organisation in the region, supporting survivors of gender-based violence through the justice system.

She is passionate about making the law understandable — her community sessions are known for turning complex procedure into plain language.
